NTT Advanced Technology Corporation

In a joint initiative with Dell Computer Corporation

NTT-AT launches MatchMail QuickStartPack

All-in-one packaged solution allowing the construction of an EMS (Email Management System) in a short time and at low cost

NTT Advanced Technology Corporation (hereafter referred to as NTT-AT, headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President: Kimio Tazaki) is, starting Tuesday, October 22, 2002, marketing MatchMail QuickStartPack, an all-in-one solution package in a joint initiative with Dell Computer Corporation (hereafter referred to as Dell Computer, headquartered in Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan; President: Hiroshi Hamada). (http://www.matchcontact.jp/). The package allows the construction of an EMS (Email Management System) environment in a short time and at low cost.

Background

Today's widespread use of e-business is resulting in increasing numbers of inquiries being sent to contact centers by e-mail or through the centers' websites, giving rise to an urgent need to reduce the workload for handling such inquiries at the centers and to improve the quality of the answers, regardless of the size of the company. As a solution to these urgent issues, in April 2000 NTT-AT launched MatchMail, an automatic e-mail classification and distribution system, fully supporting the Japanese language. The company has undertaken a series of upgrades to take account of feedback on user needs, voiced in the fields across Japan, and is now releasing a new version MatchMail V2 with extended functions, including FAQ management and search.

The all-in-one packaged solution, called MatchMail QuickStartPack, has been developed in a joint program with Dell Computer, which allows MatchMail V2 to be introduced at a low initial cost and in a short time.
