Simple Operation

• With the aid of the V-groove plate (accessory), it provides a flat and mirror end-face for silica-based 125μm outer diameter single-fibers by a simple sliding operation.
• Fiber holders which come with fusion or mechanical splicing tools can be used.
• Collects fiber trash and traps into the case by using the roller.

Versatility

1. Expose the bare fiber by removing the coating of the fiber end to a length of about 30 mm.
2. Using the V-groove plate :
   Put the V-groove plate onto the holder groove and put the coated fiber end onto the V-groove so that the bare fiber is set on the rubber pads.
3. Using the fiber holder :
   Put the coated fiber end into a holder which usually comes with fusion or mechanical splicing tools. Put the holder onto a holder groove so that the bare fiber is set on the rubber pads.
4. Clamp the bare fiber by dropping two fiber clamps.
5. Move the slider (with the blade and the pushing rod) to the front. This sliding operation gives both a slight scratch and a pulling force to the bare fiber, providing a flat and mirror end-face. Then lift the clamps.
6. Tilt the body and move to the left. The fiber trash is pulled and trapped into the trash case.
