About the functionalities

Q1 : What is H.264

It is the latest MPEG video coding standard which is adopted for the next generation DVD and the digital broadcast for mobile terminals in Japan.

Compared to MPEG-2, it can compressed data size can be reduced to half while maintaining visual quality.

Q2 : What kind of input and output formats are supported ?

Input is AVI File.

Output is MPEG-2 TS File.

Q3 : How is the operation of the encoder system done ?

A3 :

Set encoding parameters for the specified input folder.

When the files to be encoded is placed within the specified folder, encoding tasks for these files are registered to the encoding system automatically. Then the encoding system encodes each file.

When the coding task is finished, information such as encoding time and quality information is diplayed.
