High IR Reflective Coating : Surf Cool


    Surf Cool can slow rising temperature by reflecting near-infrared rays of sunlight efficiently. It is effective for the heat island phenomenon that is a recent hot topic in the news. Surf Cool doesn't include any organic solvents and is environmentally friendly.

Easy to use all-in-one water based paint coating

  • Just open the can and use as is.
  • No solvent odour, or fear of igniting.

Excellent Workability

  • Application with either a brush or roller makes application simple.
  • Can also be applied by a sprayer.

Excellent Durability

  • Using degenerated acrylic resin, it adheres well to asphalt and mortar surfaces and excels in water-proof and weather resistance qualities.

Choose between Grey, Dark Grey, Dark Green, Light Blue or Brick Colors.

  • When the Surf Cool coated section is compared to the uncoated asphalt surface, it was confirmed that it was more than10°C cooler.
  • Comparing Surf Cool to the same color of normal paint, it was 7°C cooler.

  • Results from measuring the temperature under the ceiling of the chemical storage shed at both the Surf Cool coated and the uncoated area. The left side of the graph shows measurements taken directly under the ceiling before the Surf Cool was applied and the right side shows that there was virtually no change for the part of the ceiling below the uncoated part of the roof. However, the ceiling below the Surf Cool treated roof area, under sunny conditions was 2-3°C cooler.
